Ramesh is a senior physiotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience in Singapore and abroad. He is recognised for his leadership at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Polyclinics, where he focused on musculoskeletal and post-surgical rehabilitation.
At SGH, Ramesh worked alongside orthopaedic surgeons to implement post-operative recovery programs, conducted triage in the Emergency Department, and led functional rehabilitation for complex injuries. He also mentored junior physiotherapists and contributed to the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Residency Program and Postgraduate Allied Health Institute (PGAHI).
At NHG Polyclinics, he managed a wide spectrum of outpatient cases, from sports injuries to degenerative conditions, and supervised overseas-trained physiotherapists under conditional registration. He has also been active in patient education, delivering public talks and workshops on injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Earlier in his career, Ramesh worked in Singapore’s community hospitals, caring for patients requiring intensive rehabilitation following strokes, surgeries, and complex medical conditions.
