Coming from a family passionate about sports—ranging from football to golf—Rachel’s interest in the physical demands of athletic activities was cultivated from a young age. Her background in athletics and ballet has given her valuable insight into musculoskeletal conditions and the importance of guided rehabilitation. She understands the significance of having a trusted confidant to discuss concerns and struggles along the recovery journey.
Rachel’s special interests include manual therapy and taping, which she developed during her second year of studying for her Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Physiotherapy at Singapore Institute of Technology. Her hands-on experience includes working with the U17 women’s football team at JSSL Singapore, inspiring her to further pursue courses in sports taping to enhance her skillset.
With a background in ballet, Rachel has a keen interest in Pilates and neuromuscular retraining. Her final thesis explored the effects of Clinical Pilates on Chronic Lower Back Pain, providing her with valuable insights into designing targeted, directional-specific exercises for her patients.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys running, Pilates, gym workouts, and golf. Her love for movement and the empowerment it brings continue to motivate her in her professional journey.
