Evander holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, earned in 2023 from the Singapore Institute of Technology. In 2017, he also earned a diploma in Psychology from Temasek Polytechnic.
From his teenage years, exercise has been a central part of Evander’s life, initially fueled by his passion for long-distance running in Track and Field and later transitioning into bodybuilding. His journey through sports-related injuries as an athlete over the years sparked a profound interest in physiotherapy, driving him to help others overcome their injuries and discomforts.
Having experienced the rigors of rehabilitation firsthand as an athlete, Evander brings a unique understanding and empathy to his practice. His enthusiasm for pushing the human body’s limits extends beyond bodybuilding into a commitment to helping patients discover their mental and physical resilience when faced with injuries.
Throughout his clinical attachments, Evander has gained extensive experience across various cases from different disciplines of physiotherapy, including cardiopulmonary, neurological, oncological, intermediate long-term care, and sports musculoskeletal cases. His experiences with athletes and pre/post-operative cases in an outpatient setting spurred his passion for musculoskeletal cases even further, with a specific interest in rehabilitating sportsmen.
Evander is devoted to addressing each patient’s needs, facilitating their return towards a return to pain-free functioning. He is invested in assisting patients to overcome their debilities and achieve optimal well-being.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Evander enjoys bodybuilding and delves into the world of cinema through reading in his free time. Meet us at our Paya Lebar branch, and let Evander and our team guide you on your path to recovery and well-being.
