Cera is a committed and compassionate physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology. Her journey into physiotherapy began at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), where she spent two formative years managing a wide spectrum of patients. During her time at SGH, she gained valuable expertise in general musculoskeletal rehabilitation, as well as in the highly specialised areas of oncological and renal rehabilitation. This strong foundation equipped her with both the clinical versatility and empathy required to manage patients with diverse and complex needs.
Over the years, Cera has developed a special interest in pre- and post-natal rehabilitation and paediatric physiotherapy. She is passionate about supporting mothers through the unique physical demands of pregnancy and recovery, as well as guiding children and adolescents in overcoming developmental or musculoskeletal challenges. Her goal is to ensure that every patient—whether adult or child—receives the care, confidence, and tools needed to lead an active, healthy life.
Cera is certified in trigger point dry needling and adopts a comprehensive, evidence-based approach in her practice. She draws on a range of therapeutic techniques—including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neuromuscular re-education—to help patients regain function, relieve pain, and achieve lasting outcomes. What distinguishes her practice is her emphasis on holistic, patient-centred care: she believes strongly in the role of empowerment and education, guiding patients and their caregivers to actively participate in the rehabilitation process.
Her treatment philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that every individual’s recovery journey is unique. Cera takes the time to understand the personal goals, lifestyle factors, and challenges of each patient, and designs rehabilitation programmes that are highly tailored and sustainable. By doing so, she ensures that progress is not only measured in physical outcomes but also in the patient’s overall quality of life and long-term wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Cera embodies the same dedication to movement and health that she encourages in her patients. She leads a dynamic lifestyle, enjoying Pilates, barre, and functional training as part of her weekly routine. An avid rock climber for more than five years, Cera values the mental and physical resilience that climbing demands. She often integrates these qualities—strength, balance, focus, and perseverance—into her physiotherapy practice, motivating her patients to overcome challenges and reach new levels of capability.
At Rapid Physiocare, Cera combines her clinical expertise, empathetic nature, and active lifestyle to provide a standard of care that is both professional and personal. Her patients know her not just as a physiotherapist but as a partner in their journey toward recovery, resilience, and lifelong health.
