Atiq Syazwani is one of our senior physiotherapist providing our patients with dedicated and professional service. She is a skilled practitioner who has gained significant experience working in various clinical conditions including geriatric, cardiopulmonary, orthopedics, neurology, musculoskeletal, and sports-related conditions.
While working in public hospital since 2015, she gathered clinical experience managing a multitude of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings such as neck , back , hip , knee and ankle pain. She has a particular interest in pre- and post-operative rehabilitation (spinal and peripheral), strength and conditioning and injury prevention ranging from the young and senior, to the recreational and competitive sports athletes.
A holder of a bachelor’s degree in health science in physiotherapy, she is popular among patients for her ability to explain procedures to the patients and respond to their questions patiently and gently, often earning high praises for both customers and colleagues.
A born athlete and a strong believer that health is wealth, she actively engaged in sports from a young age and pushed her limits by joining the national silat (malay martial art) team. as a two-time sea games medalist athlete, she is aware of the potential of injuries when engaging in sports activities. she is therefore passionate in using her knowledge and expertise to help patients who sustained musculoskeletal and sports injuries manage pain, gain back their ability to perform activities and be able to live healthy and normal lives. by sharing her knowledge on human physiology, movement, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises, she hopes to help patients live up to their full potential.
