Shane is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong educational background and diverse experience in the field. He holds a Diploma in Physiotherapy from Nanyang Polytechnic, followed by an Honors Degree in Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin.
During his career, Shane has made a significant impact in various healthcare settings. He began his journey in a public hospital as a valuable member of the neurological team, where he played a vital role in the rehabilitation of patients with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Later, he joined the Orthopaedic team, specializing in the rehabilitation of patients who underwent procedures like Total Knee Replacements (TKR), Total Hip Replacements (THR), Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction, and Spinal operations. In addition, Shane has worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide cardiac rehabilitation sessions for patients with cardiac conditions. He has also been involved in a home-based physiotherapy service, supporting elderly patients in their recovery and rehabilitation in the comfort of their own homes. With a focus on continuous learning and professional development, Shane has successfully completed courses to assist clients dealing with headaches, giddiness, and vestibular conditions.
