Kelvin is a physiotherapist specialized in the management of Musculoskeletal and Sports injuries. He completed his Masters in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2014. During his postgraduate study, he has worked with some of the renowned physiotherapists in the field of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. Prior to that, he obtained his Physiotherapy Honors Degree from the National University of Malaysia in 2008.

Kelvin is a registered physiotherapist under Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore, with more than 12 years of clinical and teaching experience. While he was working in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, he has managed a wide range of patients, including patients with musculoskeletal and sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, as well as geriatric patients with conditions such as osteoporosis, arthritis, knee, and hip joint replacements, and many others.

In 2015, Kelvin is part of the medical team providing physiotherapy services to international athletes with acute sports injuries at the games medical center for the 28th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games).

In 2016, Kelvin became a trained Weightlifting Coach (Technical Level 1), under the National Coaching Accreditation Programme (NCAP), Singapore Weightlifting Federation. This training has allowed him to provide guidance to weightlifters on proper and safe lifting techniques.

In 2017, Kelvin was awarded a Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) scholarship, for a 2-week training program in Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound, held at Ultrasound Solution, Adelaide Australia. He was trained to perform a diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound to identify muscles, tendon and ligaments dysfunction. This skill enabled him to facilitate patients in their rehabilitation to improve their muscle functions.

In 2018, Kelvin achieved certification in Kinesio Taping Fundamentals & Advanced (KT1 & KT2).

Kelvin is a passionate physiotherapist who is always ready to go the extra mile in assisting patients in their recovery journey. He thrives to do his very best to provide value-added care to his patients. His dedicated work has won him a PS21 Star Service Award of Excellence in the 2014 Public Service Awards.

Kelvin loves sports. He was a competitive badminton & volleyball player in Malaysia in his teens and participated in Malaysia Games in 2004. Kelvin is also a recreational runner and performs high-intensity training (HIIT) during his free time. Therefore, he has a strong passion for sports injury prevention and management.
