Ashika holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy, which she attained from a collaborative program between the Singapore Institute of Technology and Trinity College Dublin. Her career has flourished in both acute care hospitals and community-based settings, where she has honed her skills by treating a wide variety of conditions, including those related to the musculoskeletal system, the heart and lungs, and neurological disorders.

Her clinical practice is distinguished by a deep commitment to offering tailor-made care, with a particular emphasis on supporting individuals who have undergone amputation. Ashika’s proficiency in physiotherapy is well-suited for a range of medical environments, from inpatient care to outpatient rehabilitation centers. Her passion for musculoskeletal wellness is inspired by her personal history in athletics, including running and hockey, which she continues to complement with an active lifestyle filled with biking and nature treks.

At the core of Ashika’s professional ethos is her relentless dedication to her patients’ well-being. She prides herself on delivering compassionate care, engaging her patients as active participants in their own recovery process. By attentively listening to their concerns and aligning her treatment plans with their personal objectives, she fosters a sense of autonomy and motivation in her patients.

Driven by an insatiable desire to learn and a pursuit of professional excellence, Ashika consistently seeks out educational opportunities and challenges that will enrich her skill set. Her ultimate goal is to elevate the standard of care she offers, ensuring her patients receive optimal support throughout their rehabilitation.
