About Sheny John
Sheny’s greatest passion to help people alleviate pain and her keen interest in Woman’s Health and incontinence management while she was at KKH, inspired her to pursue a career in this field. With an ambition to become a fully qualified physiotherapist, Sheny completed her bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy in 2000. At present, Sheny works as a locum physiotherapist at different hospitals which included Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Farrer Park Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
Currently she works as a visiting physiotherapist for the Parkway group’s hospital.
Although Sheny has special interest for Women’s Health and Paediatrics. She doesn’t want to only center her profession over that. She has vast experience in treating different conditions while working at Pubic and community hospitals. In the private health service, Sheny has gained tremendous respect for her practice as a senior physiotherapist at KK Women and Children’s hospital.
She is one of the very few certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage physiotherapist. She completed her certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage from the Dr Vodders School International, Washington USA.
She is also certified in Clinical Pilates (Australia).

Sheny’s physiotherapy treatments feature a unique and effective way of approach. She relieves frustration, reduces pain and gives patients the control for their rehabilitation process. Her strength is her ability to cheerfully communicate with her patients to direct them to full recovery. Consultation and treatment provided by Sheny are directed towards quickly resolving symptoms to enhance daily living and setting a routine for a speedy recovery.
She is a firm believer in strengthening and conditioning the body to prevent pain-related problems. Sheny has also received numerous awards for her work including KK Woman’s and Children’s Hospital Service from the heart award and Singapore Health Quality Service Award in 2012.
